IB Classes: Online & In-Person Options

The IB programme demands focused preparation, and choosing the right learning format is essential for success because students who don’t know what format works best for them cannot achieve their full potential. At Princeton Review Singapore, we offer IB classes both online and in person, so you can choose the format that works best for you.

In our in-person classes, you will be taught by IB teachers who understand the program deeply because they were once in your place. They have a strong track record of helping students succeed. When you’re in the same room as your teacher, help is always at hand. Ask questions, talk through tough topics with classmates, and get support right away. This is ideal if you like learning directly and quickly.

In our online classes, you can learn from your home while being taught by teachers who know the IBDP Program well and have guided many students before you. In online classes, you can interact with teachers. You can ask questions and get feedback in real time. This format works well if you have a busy schedule or you prefer learning at your own pace.

We focus on effective learning. We prioritise education in both formats since we’re educators at heart. Being in this field, we know just how vital quality education is in today’s competitive landscape. Students face fresh challenges and opportunities that will impact their futures.

Our goal is clear. We prepare you for the real world, understanding that learning doesn’t only happen in the classroom; it’s a continuous experience that goes on throughout your entire life.

Small class sizes. Proven teaching methods. These foundations support our work, whether you choose online or in-person classes, because our commitment remains the same: helping students achieve their IB goals through expert guidance and comprehensive support.

IB Tuition Singapore: Extended Essay & TOK Support

The Extended Essay (EE) is a 4,000-word independent research project focused on developing academic writing and critical thinking, while the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course is built on exploring how knowledge is developed or judged by different disciplines. They are both core components of the IB Diploma Programme and help determine each student’s final grade.

Through IB Tuition Singapore, we provide EE and TOK support, from selecting topics to researching, structuring and refining arguments. Our bespoke support provides students with clarity, certainty and the ability to perform regardless of the work done prior to coming to us, especially when the assessments are putting pressure on demands because that will become a constant aspect of learning ahead.

MYP (Middle Years Programme)

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) challenges students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills in order to foster young, active global citizens. The MYP is designed for students between the ages of 11 and 16 years during a time of transition from primary years to the more rigorous learning of the IB Diploma Programme.

Balanced Curriculum: The MYP offers eight subject groups- Languages, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Design, Individuals & Societies and other core subjects.

Interdisciplinary Learning: The MYP encourages students to connect different subjects and use their learning in accurate, applicable, real-life situations.

Approaches to Learning (ATL): The MYP takes a yes-oriented approach to the ATL skills- including collaboration, self-management, and research! The MYP approaches these skills with students developing a personality of skills with and for them.

Personal Project: Students explore an area of personal interest. When they explore this area, they learn valuable skills in self-directed learning and building on their prior knowledge.

PYP (Primary Years Programme)

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is the foundation for a child’s success as a learner. It helps develop attributes of curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning for life. The PYP is written for children 3-12 years of age and expands a child’s learning in every way possible, socially, emotionally, and academically, while nurturing the whole child.

Transdisciplinary Learning: Meaningful knowledge will be explored across subjects that connect with real-world understandings, for example, “Who We Are” and “How We Organise Ourselves.”

Student-Centred: This is an approach in which children are active questioners, investigators, and take ownership of their learning. Concept-Based Learning: This approach focuses on big ideas and global perspectives, rather than merely memorising material.

PYP Exhibition: In their final year as a PYP student, children will demonstrate their learning by completing an in-depth and collaborative project on a real-world issue of their choice.

IB Tuition, IB Classes, Best in Singapore

We’re Princeton Review Singapore. For years, we’ve been helping students with IB tuition and classes throughout Singapore, using teaching approaches that consistently work and deliver the results students and parents expect. We earn trust through results.

Students succeed here. We’ve built a reputation as a reliable IB prep centre because we genuinely want to help every student reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals.

Our teachers bring years of experience working with IB students. They’ve seen what students struggle with and what helps them succeed. We make sure to cover all the IB subjects from Group 1 right through to Group 6 because we know students need support across everything they’re studying.

What we’ve found works best is keeping our classes small. With fewer students in the classroom, teachers really have the chance to connect with each one. If a student struggles with something, we can notice it right away and help them out until they understand.

Our goal is not just good grades. We want students to learn deeply and carry that knowledge beyond school.

This approach has worked for our families over the years. Parents see their children gaining confidence, not just better grades. Students tell us they feel more prepared, not just for exams but for whatever comes next. That’s what keeps us motivated to do this work.

For years, we have walked alongside students on their IB journey. Our strong results and our students’ successes are what make families in Singapore trust us.

We provide all the support you require, from study guides that are clear and easy to follow, to practice assessments that build confidence and supportive feedback to help you improve. We care about the progress you make, as we genuinely want you to perform well.

At Princeton Review Singapore, we believe in your capacity to succeed. Our role is simply to provide a guiding hand and help you realise and turn that potential into a success you can be proud of.

We are here to ensure that you grow and achieve.
